Operations Coordinator

Job Summary: The Operations Coordinator provides material management and operations support for manufacturing, inventory control, supply chain, and logistics for regenerative medicine products in a clean room environment. As Carmell Corporation is an early-stage company, this position will be responsible for oversight and execution across multiple areas to support the operations of the company. Flexibility and organizational skills are important.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely execution of materials management tasks for inventory control, supply chain, shipping/receiving, and logistics.
- Maintain accurate records and oversight of these areas.
- Provide manufacturing support in an ISO 7 cleanroom environment as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance to equipment and facilities as needed.
- Support quality control systems throughout all activities.
- Perform in-process testing and sampling as needed.
- Recognize and report safety, maintenance, and operational variances.
- Communicate status of operations in a timely manner.
- Follow detailed operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and safety requirements.
- Maintain files, records, and equipment.
- Achieve and maintain proficiency through training.
Education and Experience
- Associates degree in a technical area or significant experience in lieu of a degree required.
- Experience in inventory control and/or manufacturing in a technical environment preferred.
