Five new U.S. Patents have issued bringing to a total of 6 issued patents with additional U.S. and foreign applications. These five patents (8,529,956, 8,529,958, 8,529,959, 8,529,960, and 8,529,961) cover the manufacture of plasma-based products with applications including powders, pastes and putties; surgical scaffolds and matrices; cartilage and bone; and coatings. These patents, along with one issued in 2012 (8,293,530) broadly cover and protect Carmell’s plasma-based technology.
